We always strive to create a positive working relationship with local authorities and their social workers. We find that local authorities appreciate the sensitive and efficient way we approach the care of their children. By The Bridge's expertise of fostering hard to place children, the professionalism of foster families and staff and the application of its' therapeutic philosophy, all combine well with the social workers' own desire to achieve the best outcomes for their children.

 At By the Bridge we have real understanding of the work that we do - 66% of our staff members have direct experience of fostering children, adoption or providing therapeutic childcare! By the Bridge has foster families in 30 political constituencies - 16 Conservative and 14 Labour Congratulations to 19 By the Bridge Foster Parents and 4 members of staff, 2 Social Workers and 14 Foster Parent from other fostering organisations, who have successfully completed their Certificate in Therapeutic Fostering (credit rated by the University of Greenwich).
BtB Staff Celebrate 400 Years!! Of 30 members of staff 28 are in long term relationships… a collective anniversary of 400.5 years and an average of 14.3 years each!
