From July 25th 2016 there will be an alignment of Cambian’s two fostering services to become one offering known only as ‘By the Bridge with Cambian’.
Cambian Foster Care will be closing and integrated with By the Bridge to create one service focusing solely on therapeutic style of fostering. By the Bridge with Cambian has previously provided two services for prospective Foster parents.
The Cambian Group strategically acquired By the Bridge in early 2015 with an objective to build upon the group’s existing fostering service and significantly increase the capability of the Cambian Group offering for looked after children. Fostering will continue to be a core part of the Cambian organisation as a leading provider in the children’s care sector.
Now with a single focus, the Fostering offering from By the Bridge with Cambian will ensure the therapeutic approach to fostering is available to all new foster parents.
Proven over 14 years, this unique approach to fostering has ensured a more stable and successful foster family structure and better outcomes for children and young people. Its high quality has earned the company a judgement of ‘Outstanding’ in all five areas of the latest OFSTED inspection.
