Supporting Foster Care Fortnight 2017

Starting on Monday the 8th May and continuing to Sunday 21st May 2017, Foster Care Fortnight (or FCF as it is sometimes referred to) is about raising awareness of fostering and in turn finding more potential foster parents to look after the thousands of children that come into care every year.

The fortnight is the UK’s biggest foster care awareness campaign, delivered by the fostering charity - The Fostering Network. Established for almost 20 years, the campaign showcases the commitment, passion and dedication of foster carers. It also supports fostering services to highlight the need for more foster carers.

How do I become a Foster Parent?

The first step to fostering is to get in touch with us. You can send an email via our contact form and we’ll give you a call-back. Like most people, you’ve probably got a few questions to ask before deciding whether fostering’s right for you. That’s where we can help.

If we both think that fostering is the right for you, we’ll invite you to an information evening. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and to learn more information on the process, unique support, training, allowances and great pay that comes with fostering with By the Bridge.
