By the Bridge East Midlands raised a whopping £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support this Christmas with a festive coffee morning which included carol singing and mince pies aplenty.

Staff and coffee morning guests enjoyed Christmas carols and jingles performed by local pupils which helped them to raise a fantastic amount for the charity, as well as selling homebaked goods to their Foster Families, employees and visitors who were in attendance.

It was a double celebration for the Midlands team as well who were also marking their move to their new offices, based in Thorpe Constantine near Tamworth, with a simultaneous Open Day Event. The day was such a success that it was also picked up by the local press, being reported on Boxing Day in the Tamworth Herald [as above].

Senior Branch Coordinator, Carol Staley, said: "It was a lovely way to mark the opening of our new offices and support such a worthwhile charity."

In attendance was By the Bridge Managing Director, Lynn Webb and newly appointed Head of Fostering, Paul Kent, both pictured with the Midlands team above, who spent the day catching up with staff and foster families and enjoying the celebrations.

A huge well done to our dedicated fostering team who always go above and beyond where possible to help worthwhile causes and of course, our looked-after children.
