By the Bridge is a leading independent Fostering agency that carefully matches children with local Foster Parents throughout England. We work with Foster families from our local offices across the North West, Yorkshire, East & West Midlands, Essex, Thames Valley, Norfolk, Kent and Sussex.
Our children come from all over England and from all walks of life, so we welcome Foster Parents from all walks of life too. No matter where you’re located or what your life experiences, if you have an open attitude to welcome a child into your home and a spare bedroom for a child to call their own, we’d like to hear from you.

Your friendly, experienced and dedicated local team will check in with you regularly and will work with your local SSW, EAGAL and dedicated out of Hours team to support you 24/7. We will always be there for you, whenever you need us - day or night!
We organise lots of activities throughout the year for our Foster families, to give you the opportunity to build friendships, and share experiences or advice - from festive parties and pantomine to adventure days and theme parks visits, we like to get together as often as possible, just like one big family.
