Originally founded by foster parents in 2002, By the Bridge is a fostering organisation with offices situated at carefully selected locations across the UK. Our local branches and countryside locations are carefully chosen so that everyone experiences a sense of care, value and ‘a homely’ feel when they come to visit us for meetings or training courses.

For over 15+ years we have been providing a therapeutic fostering approach. We offer training to help our foster parents work out the best kind of parenting for their foster child. Therapeutic re-parenting trains our foster parents to learn about the child, understand what has gone wrong and what they might need to help them rebuild their life. The result of this is Foster Parents can identify and anticipate triggers to behaviour form a child in their care.
