TA (Transactional Analysis) Excellence – August 2010
Internationally recognised qualifications were recently awarded to our in-house psychotherapist and Transactional Analyst, Mica Douglas. Mica travelled to Montreal, Canada, to take the Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst examinations. This means that any hours of training or supervision undertaken with Mica can count towards other TA qualifications. Mica is Head of Therapeutic Training and Development in By the Bridge and the lead tutor for our Certificate in Therapeutic Fostering, in addition she delivers many other training courses to foster parents and staff as well as providing individual, group and clinical supervision.
Independent Panel member for By the Bridge North West, Enid Welford, also travelled to Canada to take examinations at the same time. She, like Mica, is now a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst.
